How to add an image in Your Google spreadsheet Using Function


The spreadsheet is a very useful product of Google. You can work without downloading excel on your computer with the help of Google this online useful product, which name is Google spreadsheet.

I cannot want to write a long and boring article, I am just sharing with you the knowledge of how to add an image to a Google spreadsheet. If you want to add then you follow these easy steps without wasting your time.

Add an Image to a Google spreadsheet From Your PC


Step 1: Open your browser and then open a spreadsheet in Google sheet.

Step 2: Hit or click on the cell in which you want to add an image and then click on insert, in the drop-down menu click on the image and then click on image in cell.

Step 3: Upload images from your PC or laptop.

Now you have successfully added your image in your Google spreadsheet.

Add an Image Using Function

To adding an image using function click on the specified cell and press F2 to enter the formula mode and then type = image(“URL”) look like this.

=image (“https://www.thegbtech.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/apple-blur-business-533463-600×400.jpg”)

Your image size is fit inside the area of the selected cell by default. If you want to change then you need to apply function another parameter like this.

=IMAGE(“URL”,2)

=IMAGE(“URL”,3)

Using this formula you can specify the height and width of the images in pixel mode.

=IMAGE(“URL”,2,120,200)

If you existing an error, its mean you are using a non-existent image or check the quotes carefully, maybe you have to miss any quotes in the image URL.
