Sometime you will see a word document with the word Do Not Copy or Confidential in the background of a document. This is basically a watermark. You can add text or images as you want that’s seen behind the document content.
Usually, a watermark is an identity of any company. If you want to add a watermark to your Word document then follow the simple and easy instruction.
Add a watermark to your Word document
Open your Microsoft word document and click on page layout option.
Click on watermark, there is a built-in watermark which is Confidential or Do Not Copy select anyone if you want to use it on your document.

You can also add your own picture or text watermark for doing this click on the custom watermark.
Default check on No watermark you can click on text watermark and then select the language.

Add the text in the text box which you want to use as a watermark.
Select font style as you want and then select the size of your text. Select the color which you want to use in your watermark and finally select the layout of your watermark and then click or hit on apply.
Once you click on apply your watermark is successfully added in your word document.

If you want to add a logo or images in your Word document watermark then select picture watermark and select picture or logo from your computer or PC and select the scale of your watermark and then click on apply.
Now you have successfully added your image or logo in your document watermark.
If you want to remove watermark then click on watermark and click or hit on remove watermark.
