In this article, you will learn how to add Whatsapp live chat to your website. It is a very best and good way to communicate directly with your client online. So, without wasting your time let’s start the process.
Add Live Chat to website
First of all, you need to open your Whatsapp in Whatsapp web mode.
If you don’t know how to open Whatsapp in Whatsapp web then click here to do this first.
Once you open the Whatsapp in Whatsapp mode then go to your browser search bar and type
https://whatsapp.io/widget and then press enter.
In the whatsapp.io widget page scroll down and you will see an option which is Choose messaging apps
Select Whatsapp and enter your Whatsapp number in the Phone number box with your country code.
For example, I am from Pakistan and my country code is +92 so I enter first my country code and then enter the other 10 digits of my number look like this.
+92XXXXXXXXXX.
Once you enter your phone number, it’s time to customize your button. If you buy a pro version then you can add your company logo and greeting message option also.
Select the position on your chatbox. If you want to show on the right side of your website then click on Right and want to show on the left side of your website then click left.
I recommend you to select the right side option.
You can also change the call to action message, the default option is Message us.
Scroll down and then add your email address in the box and then click on Get Button Code.
Once you click on the Get Button Code, you will see a javascript code on your screen, copy the code from here and paste it in your website page before closing body tag </body>.
Once you paste the code in your website you will see a Whatsapp live chatbox on the right side of your website.
If you have a WordPress blog or website, you can also use plugins to add the code in your website.
